3 Easy At Home Workouts

A lot of people ask me how I get my body the way it is. Besides the fact that I was born super skinny, I try to maintain a toned body rather than just a skinny one. Below are 3 workouts that are not only easy but convenient to do at home.

Workout ONE

Jumping Jacks- this is the easiest way to get cardio in, without leaving your home. With the right shoes on, 200 of theses bad boys a day will get your whole body into gear. Jumping jacks will get your heart beating, strengthen your legs, arms and your core. Make sure you bend your knees and jump your way into a slimmer body.

 

Workout TWO

Planks- If you are looking for an effective but easy way to strengthen your abs, this is it. I love this exercise because you can plank in front of the T.V. and come out stronger than ever. A plank is a push-up position, but your elbows and forearms will be on the ground. This position creates strong and resilient abs, with little movement but requires a lot of mental stability.

 

Workout THREE

Jumping lunges- lunges are already effective, but adding some jumping and switching feet will make it perfection. Lunges are great for legs and knees; if you have knee problems, lunges will help you. When you begin to jump and switch your legs back and forth, you are not only adding cardio but building muscle. Make sure to keep your back straight and your hands on your hips.

If you make these workouts part of your daily routine, starting with 3 sets of 10 for each, you will definitely see a change in your body, mind and spirit. Make sure to drink plenty of water and take your time. There is no need to over due any of these workouts; you can hurt yourself in any wrong movement, so be careful and have fun.
